How did it all start?

In September 2019 a Russian Girl named Anastasia came to Lebanon and fell in love with the country. She became extremely passionate about Lebanese food, its culture, nature and people. She felt here like home. So the long relationship between Anastasia and Lebanon has started.

In April 2020 she noticed that there was not a single page on Instagram reviewing places in Lebanon with details, prices and negative points in English. So Anastasia started sharing her honest experience from every place she visited.

In just 1 year Guide Lebanon on Instagram has reached 60 k followers and started having a huge impact on the F&B and touristic sectors of Lebanon.

If we go back to the past, Anastasia always had a huge passion for restaurants since she was a kid.

Her parents also enjoyed eating out and almost everyday they visited a new restaurant in Russia. On top of that, the family traveled frequently. Visiting 45 countries and tasting diverse cuisines of the world gave Anastasia some unforgettable dining experience.

She also lived 12 years in Europe before moving to Lebanon and studied Marketing in Switzerland and Germany that has helped her passion for food, writing and social media marketing to be converted into a successful blog.
