BEYT 📍 MAR MIKHAEL
This hidden gem in Mar Mikhail stole my heart! With its authentic Lebanese design, marvelous garden, and lots of greenery, this place is picture-perfect. They do an excellent job at making you feel as if you’re in a museum, or as if you traveled somewhere outside of Beirut!
Sitting on the terrace, you will feel like you are in a tropical forest, while inside, you will enjoy the authenticity and uniqueness of Lebanese houses. The owners of this project are Beyt El Jabbal, which you can recognize directly by the style of the place.
They serve fresh juices, lemonades, coffee, and wine/beer; & for their food selection, the chef offers salads, pizzas, and some starters. Their menu definitely pleases the healthylicious dessert fans! We tried Rocca mushroom salad and Pizza Margarita; both were very good! The salad was super fresh and the crust on the pizza was baked to perfection.
For dessert, we had chocolate banana cake with peanut butter and loved it. I matched it with a perfect cup of Americano coffee and it was one of the best Americano in Lebanon! I had two cups in a row. They also have freshly squeezed lemonade, it is so refreshing, a must-try!
Also, I got very fond of the dishes that they serve food and drinks with, so sleek. On Sundays, they do a Brunch buffet, but I haven’t tried it yet; definitely on my to-do list though.
When we were there, the staff was very welcoming, but service is very slow.
This place is a must-try with friends for a cup of coffee, for lunch, or to enjoy some alone time & work.
