GROUND FLOOR 📍 SAIFI
On a Friday night, our adventure led us to the newly opened restaurant/bar/lounge in Saifi, a place buzzing with the promise of a memorable evening.
As the night went on, we started feeling hungry, so we decided to check out the food options:
Burrata with cherry tomatoes ($21) - A personal favorite, this dish delivered a burst of flavor that left me craving more.
Bresaola carpaccio with artichoke ($20) - An excellent appetizer showcasing the quality of the meat and the harmonious blend of flavors.
Shrimp miso ($16.5) - While decent, this dish failed to leave a lasting impression, missing that extraordinary factor.
Risotto porcini ($21) - The ingredients were top-notch, but the dish itself leaned slightly towards the dry side.
To complement our evening, I indulged in a glass of Prosecco ($9), a delightful dry choice, and a Negroni ($13), my go-to cocktail. However, I prefer my Negroni less sweet, with that pure bitterness that sets it apart.
A few notes on the place:
- Personally, I found the concept of this place more aligned with a night of cocktails and drinks rather than a full-fledged dinner.
- A live DJ added to the ambiance, although the music started on a slower note before picking up the tempo.
- It's worth noting that the overall cost leans towards the pricey side given the oerings.
- The menu, while intriguing, does carry a somewhat limited selection.
