LOCANDA CORSINI
Tucked among tall pine trees, Locanda Corsini is a charming stone house—a small boutique hotel with a standout Italian restaurant, run by a friendly Italian-Lebanese family who knows their way around cooking.
Our Friday night dinner was pure magic. When winter hits, the place becomes super cozy, with wooden insides and a big fireplace creating a special vibe. We grabbed a spot by the fireplace, and suddenly, our night felt like a fairy tale.
Imagine this: mountains, red wine, a crackling fireplace, and great company. I thought a better Saturday dinner was impossible—until the food showed up.
We indulged ourselves in:
- Caprese with Burrata (18$) - the burrata stole the show.
- Rucola Salad with Bresaola (16$) - a bit dry but could work as a starter.
- Bruschetta with Tomatoes (8$) - loved the tomatoes but not so much the bread.
- Linguine al Tartufo (19$) - a personal favorite.
- Rigattoni with Crunchy Pork and Tomato Sauce (17$) - the pasta was just right, tasty but needed more sauce.
- Risotto with Mushrooms (19$) - creamy and delicious mushrooms.
- Fillet de Boef Steak (42$) - my absolute favorite, tender and top-notch quality meat!
Desserts:
- Panna Cotta (11$) - yum.
- Tiramisu (13$) - to die for!
The food was tasty, but some things felt a bit pricey especially certain starters and desserts.
We paired our meal with a bottle of red Italian Piccini wine (40$), highly recommended!
