L’OS 📍AIN SAADEH
Just last week, Majid and I tried a new place for lunch, L'os. It was my maiden voyage to the Ain Saadeh location, although I'd previously savored the delights of L'OS in Jezzine.
This spot doesn't just serve up mouthwatering dishes; it also gifts you with breathtaking mountain views. Nestled in a cozy setting adorned with blossoming flowers, it's a 25-minute drive from Beirut.
The restaurant itself is impressively spacious, oering both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor experience, complete with a soon-to-be-unveiled terrace, promises to be something special.
Now, let's dig into the details of what we had:
Tabbouleh ($4)- A delightful start, with flavors that hit all the right notes.
Hommos ($3.50) - A simple pleasure, yum in every spoonful.
Labne Chèvre ($4) - An alright option, oering a creamy twist.
Garlic Baguette ($5) - Now, if you're a fan of garlic (Thoum), this is their specialty. A must-try.
Batata Harra ($3.50) - A tasty treat.
Salad Raheb ($4) - A nice blend of flavors.
Lahmet Ras Asfour ($13) - A potential choice for the main course.
Grenouilles a La Provençale ($11) - Yes, they have frogs for those with an adventurous palate.
Tawouk ($7.5) - Very yummy, a definite highlight. Kebbe Orfalie ($9) - A dish to love.
As for dessert, I'd heartily recommend the ice cream ($3.50 for 3 cones). It's not 🍦
just delicious; it's presented in a fun way, perfect for sharing.

Wondering when to plan your visit? It's an excellent choice for a family lunch, especially if you have kids in tow since they even have a playground.
For an average of $25 to $35 per person.
Overall, it's a fantastic spot for a leisurely Sunday family lunch, especially if you're hankering for Lebanese cuisine outside the bustling heart of Beirut. The views are a splendid bonus, and the journey is pleasantly brief.
