Located in the heart of Beit Misk, with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean, indulge in the scenery, cocktails, and exquisite taste unmatched at Soul.
You can visit this place for two types of experiences. The first is to spend the day swimming and tanning by the infinity pool, which is very spacious and offers a beautiful view of Beirut. The second is to either have sunset drinks or dinner. The entrance fee to access the pool is 250,000LL. Children are allowed in the pool area until sunset.
I haven’t personally spent time by the pool, but when we went, we enjoyed sunset drinks and then a romantic dinner with a breathtaking view. Soul usually opens from 7:00 P.M. till midnight.
As soon as you enter the place, your heart will skip a beat, mine definitely did because of how amazing the scenery is. The neat interior, the flowers blooming everywhere, and the lighting and candles are very nice and create an astonishing atmosphere to the place.
Although the menu is quite limited, we still tried a few of the dishes. Not only it was beautifully presented, but their Bocconcini Salad with mozzarella and rucola was also super fresh, colorful, and flavorful. I personally loved the Wild Tartlet Mushrooms - Saj with some Cream, Truffle, and Rucola. The grilled chicken was very average! For dessert, we had the iron cookie dough with ice cream and chocolate, it was good but honestly, it sounds better than it tastes… We also tried some of their signature cocktails, I found them a bit average. Then we also had a glass of white wine, the wine options are also pretty limited, even by the bottle.
The managers are very professional and friendly, but in my opinion, some of the waiters still need more training. At sunset, they played lounge music, which was really nice. Later, the DJ came in and played some old-school French and Arabic songs, which some people may enjoy, but in my opinion, are not appropriate for such an elegant place.
I recommend going to Soul and spending the day by the pool, having sunset drinks, or enjoying dinner with friends, for an average of 20$ per person.
