Abdelli is a guesthouse with vineyards in the heart of the mountains of Lebanon, a few kilometers from Batroun. It is the perfect destination for someone who wants to get away from the city life, enjoy a peaceful atmosphere with mountain views, and maybe go to the beach the next day. The place is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by so much greenery, and colorful roses everywhere.
In all, there are 8 rooms. We stayed in the suite room, which is very spacious, and clean and has a large terrace. This room is ideal for a couple or for special occasions like celebrating a special event, anniversary or honeymoon. Don't forget to enjoy the bathtub with a view!
The room was equipped with WIFI, TV, fridge, and other things that you would find in a hotel room, but I found some of the furniture a bit outdated though. The other top destination of this guesthouse is the pool which is very big and clean, it’s nice to swim there when the weather is really warm. The pool area is calm and relaxing, but the sun beds could be a bit more presentable in my opinion. During Weekdays, you can have access to the pool without staying in the guesthouse.
They also have a restaurant that serves tasty Lebanese food, a beautiful view, and a nice ambiance. We ordered tabbouleh, foul, and Rocca beetroot salad which were all super colorful and fresh! We also got the tawouk platter which was delicious and juicy. I personally did not like the Balila dish we got since it was a bit dry. The Warak Aynap was a bit simple, I expected it to be rich in flavor… The portions were big.
They grow their own vegetables, make their own cheese from the goats on their little farm, and get eggs from their chicken, which are very tasty and organic. The breakfast buffet is tasty and is included in the room price, but the options are a bit limited.
The service was good, some staff were very friendly, especially Walid, who showed us the farm and their small winery. For me, the other staff could have been a bit more welcoming!
I recommend going there for a romantic getaway or family outing, as it’s not overcrowded and is pet-friendly. It is also popular for Weddings.
