ATIBAYA X MAISON CHAL 📍SMAR JBEIL
On the 9th of October, we visited Atibaia, a family owned winery, and let me tell you that it was one of the nicest lunches we had in Lebanon!
In a rustic setting, a perfectly arranged collection of classic design pieces with a modern twist, it is located on the edge of a wonderful spot from which you can admire the view of the wine yard. It almost feels like you are in Italy.
For lunch, their menu offers a formula of 6 different starters, the main course and 1 bottle of red wine for two! The starter's menu included different salads, burrata with truffle & charcuterie to go with their decadent wine. As the main course, we got different types of steaks of the highest quality.
They charge 100$ per person, and in my opinion, it’s too pricey considering the situation in Lebanon.It would have been reasonable if it included a wine bottle per person instead of 1 bottle for 2.
But overall, our lunch was really amazing and we especially enjoyed the presentation of the food and the wine. My favorite dishes were definitely their delicious burrata with truffle, their mouthwatering steak & the lemon sorbet for dessert!
The winery is not only kids friendly, but pet-friendly as well! I got to enjoy a distinctive lunch while enjoying my dog’s company. If you are looking for a fun lunch with friends, I believe Atibaia winery should be on top of your list.
