BEIT EL NESSIM 📍MINA TRIPOLI
Located in the heart of Tripoli, Mina - you can find Beit el Nessim in the old neighborhood full of magical atmosphere and history. If you ever plan to explore Tripoli, you must stay in this guesthouse for a fully authentic experience.
Beit el Nessim is located in the old town of El Mina, where the streets are too small for cars. It is extremely authentic & magical. The guest house is a historic landmark overlooking the walled garden and features a rooftop terrace and courtyard.
The guest house is hidden among the old streets of Mina. All you see is a blue door that teleports you to a beautiful house with high ceilings, an enchanting interior garden, and a few cozy rooms. We spent 3 nights at Beit El Nessim and absolutely fell in love with its location and interior.
There are 5 rooms in total. We took the largest one, on the second floor, with a spacious bathroom and a wonderful balcony. Honestly every morning it was a pleasure to wake up in this room, I loved that it had lots of windows and vintage furniture. The house offers an elegant sitting area, a kitchen with a refrigerator, a nice outdoor terrace, and even a rooftop where they hold yoga classes every Saturday morning.
One of the main downsides of our room was the bathtub which was in very poor condition and looked extremely dirty. It definitely needs to be changed or repaired, and the room could be cleaner as well. We stayed 3 nights and our room was never offered to be cleaned and I didn't see a housekeeper around. I also found it a little weird that you can't lock your door from the outside, the locals say it's normal and safe, but I was still a little worried about leaving valuables in the room when you're out all day.
Nevertheless, this guesthouse is definitely one of the nicest places to stay if you are visiting Tripoli, and we really enjoyed our stay in Mina.
Breakfast is available and is 5$ but we haven’t tried it.
