BKERZAY 📍 CHOUF
Surrounded by graceful forests🌲 this guesthouse makes you dive into an exploration of the beautiful nature as soon as you arrive.
🔸GUEST HOUSE
We had a room with the terrace, the terrace had a very nice view, where we could enjoy the sunsets 🌄(on their Website the terrace sittings looked nicer though so I had to redecorate it a bit to make it more enjoyable😅)
Rooms are spacious and clean. All windows have amazing views and the rooms have a small fireplaces🔥 to keep you warm
You can enjoy an infinity pool (closed in winter) and a small heated pool (was closed due to lockdown) there.
*so yes as you can guess I didn’t get a chance to enjoy those😁
🐶The guesthouse is very pet friendly
The room service is really fast. Every time we asked for something, it was there in 3 minutes.
There is also a game room, pottery studio and gym for your entertainment. And some nice hiking trails around the forest.
Room with board games was a bit off for me. The furniture is more modern and simple, compared to all the other traditional Lebanese design of the place.
🔸RESTAURANT
The restaurant offers International and some Lebanese food.
The breakfast is nice. But same things everyday, with limited options.
There is only two pasta options: creamy zucchini and tomato pasta. Good, but average.
Loved greens salad and mushrooms in a plate. Also their soups!
Tenderloin Steak🥩 was amazing one day, and too dry the next day.
The gin basil cocktail was good
Service? Let’s say there is a room for improvement.
And the staff could be more friendly.
🔹SPA
I went for a 50 min Deep Tissue massage, It was Perry great! Also enjoyed the Sauna🧖🏼♀️
They also have Turkish bath (perfect for couples)
Not the best Spa in Lebanon, but a good one. Very beautiful views over the valley in the relaxing zone.
💵Room per night: 150$-250$
🔸When to go: Great for a family getaway/ couples getaway
💕Overall experience: 7/10
