Jabal Moussa mountains are absolutely beautiful and have amazing hiking trails.
🔸We picked 4 hours hiking trail in Qehmez. You can complete the trail on your own or hire a local guide to go with you, so you don’t get lost ( If you are an amateur hiker like me 😅)
🔸That day we climbed to the highest pick of Jabbal Moussa (1,600 M) Once you reach the top you have a 360 degree view, which is absolutely astonishing.
🔸The best time to go hiking there is Spring🌸/Autumn🍁, we went during Winter time but there was no snow, I’m sure when the snow❄️is there it is even more magical💫
🔸On our hiking trail we saw some old houses from 18th century and we came over the huge Cross with amazing panoramic view overall the whole valley😍
🔸Whats amazing is that the whole mountain area is so different, in 4 hours of hiking we did a big round and saw very diverse nature.
🐶Sadly Pets are not allowed to go into the reserve

Local guide= around 250,000LL (depending on the trail, and the level of the guide)
After the trail we arrived walking to Huda’s guesthouse, where a family prepared dinner for us from all the local products. We had delicious homemade Lebanese food and it was one unforgettable experience
