Centrale first opened its doors back in 2001 and has been a must-go-to-place ever since! It is located in a two-story building which is truly an architectural beauty.
The elegant first-floor restaurant serves delicious French cuisine, with seasonal dishes and a varied menu that will keep you on your toes. The elevator rides up to the second-floor bar, one of the highlights of the Central experience. With the establishment's signature leather banquettes, the ride only adds to the anticipation of the arrival!
We went to Centrale on a Saturday for a date night and it was just magical. They have a dazzling outdoor terrace where you sit under a glass roof, surrounded by charming plants. The lights are very dim and romantic music is playing in the background. A perfect atmosphere for a perfect evening. The interior dining room is also very elegant. High ceilings and modern interior decoration. The lights are a little brighter but the atmosphere is still very romantic.
The Service was extremely pleasant and professional.
we tried a variety of dishes from their menu. We first ordered the beetroot salad which was tasty and they are very generous with their portions! I personally loved their homemade foie gras with figs on the side! We also had the melo salad with raw mushrooms which was honestly a bit disappointing, I did not like the dressing on the salad and with this dish, they weren’t generous with their portions at all, especially for the price of it. On the other hand, we had Australian beef fillet, it was very juicy and rich in flavor; it is served with a great sauce and extremely delicious sides of mashed potatoes and beans.
For dessert, we tried Profiteroles, they were splendid. They have a nice selection of Wine too. I recommend B-QA Lebanese wine or French Bordeaux.
After dinner, you can head to the rooftop bar, which is extremely exquisite. I absolutely loved this place and the vibe! The bartenders make amazingly delicious cocktails with rich and exotic flavors. The bar has 3 large tables on the terrace for big groups. 5 tables inside for 2 people and some nice sitting at the bar.
On the Weekend, the DJ plays deep house music. I highly recommend booking in advance since the place is almost always full from Wednesday to Saturday! You can enjoy a date night or celebrate special occasions with family or friends at Centrale.
