LE MONTAGNOU 📍 KFARDEBIAN
Located in Kfardebian, Le Montagnou has a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean. This is just one aspect of what you can experience there. Le Montagnou is a restaurant, an alpine ski resort and a trendy pool club all at once. It is truly a beautiful and must-visit location where you can enjoy the extraordinary sunset in the mountains.
When we arrived, we sat by the pool and had a sunset drink with a great view while the DJ played cool house music in the background. Once the sun set, we moved to the upper area where we had a table next to the DJ and the bar. It is also an option to sit in the restaurant, where the atmosphere is quieter, which is perfect for a romantic evening.
I have been there several times and let me tell you that their menu never failed to match my mood! I tried their duck salad & their duck dish from the main courses. Both plates were super fresh, mouthwatering and had a super special taste. & when I was in the mood of something lighter, I was told that they had recently added sushi from Ginger and Co. on their menu; Which was great since we ordered a salmon set of 28 pieces which was around 54$. It was super fresh and very professionally prepared. We got to enjoy it with a bottle of Astoria Prosecco for 38$.
We also had a couple of their gin basil for about 8$. We went on a Thursday, so it wasn't as crowded and the music wasn't as loud, by 10 p.m. the place was empty. But they say Saturdays are usually pretty wild and the place is always very crowded.
You can also visit Le Montagnou during the day and enjoy a day at the pool. During the week they charge 10$ per person and during the weekend 15$ per person. You should always book in advance since it is a popular location in summer.
Overall, we loved spending a day in Faraya/Kfardebian, catching the sunset and ending the day in Montagnou was just perfect. You can enjoy it for a romantic evening, dinner with friends or dinner with family. For an average of 50$ per person.
