O MONOT ROOFTOP đź“ŤACHRAFIEH
Tucked away behind pretty Saifi Village in historic Ashrafieh, O Monot is a beautiful rooftop located on the 10th floor and is the perfect place to watch the sunset with a stunning 360-degree view of Beirut.
Going there when the sun is setting with the most perfect lighting makes the place extremely romantic. The pool adds a touch of magic. The place is ideal for a romantic date or a sunset drink. You can also dine there, and that's exactly what we did.
We tried the club sandwich. It was delicious! As a great friend of mine once said: How do you know if a hotel is good? By its club sandwich. We also ordered the mushroom risotto, it was not bad, lacked a bit of flavor, but the portions were very big! They are very generous with their dishes. For drinks, we took Almaza beer and Prosecco.
The restaurant is pretty pricey, but I expected such high prices, as it’s a rooftop at the Boutique hotel.
The atmosphere, views, and design of the place are exclusive, beautiful, and picturesque. It's a nice place to wear a dress or something elegant too!
The first time we came, the music was a bit too low and slow, maybe because they had just opened. The second time, the music was very lively and pleasant.
But if you're looking for a quiet dinner with a great view, then this place is perfect. There is also seating inside. The place is also perfect for a special event. Like an engagement party. You can rent the whole roof and they have special packages. They can accommodate up to 60 people. The service was nice.
What about the safety measures during Covid? We were alone there, so it was perfect social distancing. Although I know after my review, things might change.
I highly recommend going there for sunset drinks or for a romantic dinner.
