PACIFICO 📍 MONOT STREET
Located in Monot str. Achrafieh, Pacifico is cool, always crowded, and has a good vibe! I've been to this place before on a lively night and it was really fun.
On the weekends, the place is very crowded and the music gets loud. But this time, we went to this Mexican food restaurant bar for a late lunch around 5 pm during this time, the place is usually very chill, peaceful, and not crowded.
You can sit inside, with an interior that personally makes me feel like I'm in a Mexican movie. You can also opt for the charming covered garden, surrounded by beautiful plants. The atmosphere is extremely pleasant and the lights give you the softest vibes. There are also heaters to keep you warm.
In terms of social distancing, they took the right measures to keep everyone safe. I wasn't expecting much from the food, but surprisingly, it was really good Mexican food!
We ordered several dishes from their menu, like beef quesadillas, which were really good, rich in flavor, and they came with different kinds of dips on the side. We also tried their salad with Chicken and Pineapples, it was tasty! Good chicken and it went very well with pineapple but for me, I think they added way too much sauce. We then ordered the fried shrimps were tasty but too oily… Their nachos with cheese was extremely good, we ended up ordering one more portion! What went perfectly with their nachos was their extremely fresh and vibrant guacamole! Although the chips that came with it were lacking flavor and they weren’t very generous with the portion. We ordered the beef tacos, and allow me to tell you that this is a must-order! It was flavorful and authentic and filling.
The place is also known for its excellent cocktails; the frozen margaritas are a must-try! They also serve bottles of local wine for a good price.
Honestly, their service was okay, they could have paid more attention. Overall, it is a great place to visit with your friends on a night out and has delicious Mexican food and amazing cocktails.
