One of the most elegant places you will find in Lebanon. Salon Beirut is the true definition of a hidden gem in the heart of Hamra, a very classy place with Jazz music playing in the background and great food to taste. With good vibes and attention to detail, it is the perfect place to meet, have a drink or enjoy a good meal. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, they also have a live band playing Jazz music.
This beautifully designed, casual bar and restaurant is now one of my favorite places to have a drink.
The ambiance of this place is incredibly charming. There is seating both inside and outside. The inside gives you a beautifully decorated space with bright lighting. Outside, you can sit back and relax with soft lighting, candles, and a large, beautiful tree in the middle. The place also serves an a la carte brunch every day from 10 am to 4 pm. Every week, a live jazz band performs.
Their menu mainly offers International food. So, I had to order several dishes from the menu! For starters, we ordered the avocado dip, which was really rich in flavor! The mushroom a la plancha was very delicious. The chicken skewers were extremely juicy and mouthwatering. We also ordered the grilled aubergine which was out of this world. For the main dishes, we had roasted chicken, and let me tell you that this was the best chicken I have ever tried in a restaurant! It was super tender and organic freekeh is served with it as a side dish. My personal favorite was the mushroom risotto, just heavenly delicious… no other words. They also have some gluten-free and vegan options. They have very special cocktails! The ones they have on the menu are very tasty and delicious.
My friend once ordered a cocktail called Millionaire (with Rum) it was really good. Also, the negroni there is Amazing! Some staff were really welcoming and friendly, while others were a bit lost and not that professional.
overall, I LOVED the place, it has very positive vibes about it. The perfect ambiance, jazz music, and decor make your evening amazing. I recommend going there for lunch with friends or a solo breakfast, work, or study during the day. You can also grab a drink with friends/ dinner or a special date night.
