SHAMS GUESTHOUSE 📍BATROUN
This past weekend, our journey led us to a newly opened guesthouse tucked in the heart of Batroun. Situated in Bahsa, a mere 2-minute stroll from the sea, this place is a true embodiment of interior elegance.
The guesthouse itself is a story of two halves: one is the private domain of the homeowners, while the other is a guest retreat housing three exquisite bedrooms. Each room boasts a sleek, modern aesthetic that's as pleasing to the eye as it is pristine. For our stay, we chose Suite 2.
In our cozy corner, we had everything we needed to feel comfortable. This included air conditioning, a fridge, Wi-Fi, and a charming balcony. However, the most remarkable feature was the bathroom. It had a glass ceiling and a nearby balcony that offered stunning views of Batroun. The only thing missing was some tables or chairs to make the outdoor experience complete.
One noteworthy detail: the bathroom doesn't have a door, so it's best shared with someone you're utterly comfortable with.
Yet, a few downsides do temper the experience. There's no breakfast service, parking can be a bit tricky, and there's no TV in the room. Additionally, the price feels a tad pricey given the limited amenities. This guesthouse has a strict no-pets policy, and only guests aged 18 and above are welcome.
That said, the place exudes an undeniable allure, oozing style and maintaining meticulous order. It's unquestionably a stylish and well-maintained retreat.
For those seeking added relaxation, the guesthouse boasts a spa of exceptional quality. We indulged in a 70-minute signature oil massage, priced at $80 per person.
Now, let's break it down with some ratings:
Location: 9/10 Interior: 9/10 Atmosphere: 7/10 Cleanliness: 9.5/10 Value for money: 7/10 Amenities: 6.5/10 Service: 8/10
Overall: 8/10
When's the best time to visit? It's the perfect choice for a couple's getaway or any special occasion.
As for pricing, here's the breakdown: - Weekdays: $200 per night
- Weekends: $250 per night
Check-in time starts at 12 PM, and check-out is at 3 PM.
Overall, this guesthouse exudes style, from its aesthetically pleasing decor to the thoughtful amenities. We especially appreciated the attention to detail and the personal touches within each room. It's a haven for the design-conscious traveler, but we can't help but hope for the addition of more facilities in the future, perhaps even a complimentary breakfast or other perks to enhance the overall experience
