This restaurant is a must-visit place in Lebanon for an unforgettable dinner.
The food is more than delicious. The ingredients are extremely fresh and of high quality. The owner chooses all the ingredients, meat, and seafood himself. The quality of the food at this place is something rare to find in Lebanon.
I fell in love with their grilled octopus! It was so soft, it melts in your mouth and was so fresh! The best I have ever tasted in Lebanon.
I tried the steak that my fiancé ordered, and I immediately regretted not ordering that too. Beef steak... so juicy, so mild... no sauce even needed... that's when you know the meat is really good, just the way it is.
I had sea bass for the main course. It was very good, but I've had better, cheaper ones in Lebanon...
I loved the design of the place. Very comfortable. Especially the garden with the fire at their grilling station. Very good place for a romantic date. Or a birthday celebration or any other private event. Very good and attentive service, especially Mr. Hadi, who made sure we left the place happy and satisfied. All the dishes arrived very quickly and all our wishes were heard and fulfilled.
The glass of wine was a very good red wine. The price of the cocktails was just right.
The music is way too relaxing, it's that type of music you hear when you go to the Spa... it makes you extremely relaxed and sleepy, that maybe someone who is too relaxed will fall asleep on their plate. At least that's how I felt... I think some jazz or just lively romantic music would work much better with the atmosphere of this place.
It's expensive compared to other restaurants (but that makes sense, as they want their food to be of the highest quality). When the place is full, it takes a while for the server to notice you when you want something.
I recommend going there for a romantic date, or to celebrate special occasions like anniversaries or birthdays!
