AMARILLA BEACH 📍JOUNIEH
I can't believe I haven't tried this place yet! As soon as you enter Amarilla Beach, you immediately feel all that summer boho vibe. I was very impressed with how clean and spacious this place was!
We decided to have lunch at this wonderful place on Saturday, and although we were seated in the main area, we were still able to enjoy the beautiful sea view.
They offer delicious international and Lebanese dishes as well as delicious seafood, so I had to try a couple of dishes from the menu. For an average of $35 per person. The exotic vegan salad with fresh mango and strawberries was so colorful that I personally loved it ($9). The truffle burratina with wild mushrooms was very average in flavor, but honestly, I wouldn't choose this dish again ($33). I loved the flavor/presentation of the spicy tuna crackers! (13$). We also tried the Framer's Chicken; it was just grilled chicken cooked with lemon sauce and I was not very impressed with its flavor.
We had a bottle of Rose by Ixsir Grand Reserve (36$) it was the blending perfectly while we spent an amazing day by the beach & watched the breathtaking sunset!
The service in the restaurant area was pleasant, but later when we moved to the lower area closer to the sea for sunset, I felt like the service there needs improvement.
Overall, we literally spent the whole day at Amarilla and didn't want to leave. It was so beautiful, with the view of Jounieh, the boho style decor and the sea breeze. The music was pretty chill when we were there and the vibe was relaxing. It is a place I would return to, especially because you can enjoy a beautiful sunset on the beach, which is not far from Beirut. You would surely enjoy this place when you go out with your friends for lunch/sunset drinks or on a date night.
