BACKBURNER 📍 SAIFI VILLAGE
Located in the midst of Saifi Village, The Backburner is a specialty coffee shop that serves handcrafted coffee and great food.
One of my favorite coffee shops in town. I love getting caffeinated here on a sunny day, sitting outside or just taking the coffee with me and going for a walk around beautiful Saifi.
I usually opt for a regular Americano or Cappuccino. You can have it with oat, almond, or coconut milk, but there is an extra charge.
The place also has delicious homemade cakes, most of which are gluten-free. My ultimate personal favorite is the carrot cake.
You can go to the coffeeshop just for a coffee or tea, for breakfast or lunch, as they also offer salads and sandwiches. The salmon sandwich is my favorite, as well as the cakes.
The food comes from Meat the Fish restaurant, as the owners are the same! The dining options are very limited, however, as it is mainly a cafe.
They have very fast Wi-Fi but it only works indoors. They do actually have a quite small space and the seating is not the most comfortable, it is also one of the most expensive coffee shops in town. They are not very generous with their portions and the service was just alright! But the coffee is of excellent quality and I have never been disappointed.
I recommend going there for a delicious cup of coffee with friends, or for work/studies. You can also enjoy a delicious breakfast there.
