BEYT EL JABBAL 📍CHOUF
Once your eyes meet this old house in Deir el Qamar, it is hard for you not to fall in love with the place.
THE ROOM
We stayed in the room 10. I really enjoyed our room, it was very spacious with gorgeous interior and we had a small kitchen with a fridge and a huge terrace as well.
The terrace didn’t have much of a view though. But had a cute swing.
The room was very clean and all furniture was in great condition. Loved the huge mirror in the middle.
Keep in mind that the shower there is literally next to the bed and is see through, so make sure you stay in this room with someone you don’t mind seeing showering in front of you 😂
I went with my friend, so I had to wait while she showered outside of the room 😅
Moreover this room is right next to someone else’s house (it doesn’t belong to Beyt El Jabbal) so you will see the local people of this village staring at you while chilling on the terrace 🙂
Also there is no Wifi in the room.
RESTAURANT
We tried some Lebanese dishes a la carte for lunch. We didn’t order much but what we tried was good plus very affordable. Loved the grilled zucchini with tahini for starters.
For dinner we also went to their restaurant where they make wooden pizza. The pizza was really tasty. And they have good variety of wine by bottle.
The restaurant interior is gorgeous and the atmosphere is extremely cozy.
Breakfast is included in the room price. It’s very simple. But you can find eggs, saj, lebneh, cheese, vegetables...
SERVICE
All staff was extremely helpful and welcoming.
You get the phone numbers of the staff and call them whenever you need anything. They usually help you right away.
THE AREA
There is not much of walking trails around, you can just stroll down the small streets and explore the village. Its good if you have a car, so you can explore Chouf and visit other beautiful places around.
Pet friendly in some rooms🐶
The guesthouse or their restaurant is definitely a nice place to visit if you ever in Chouf.
