This weekend, we embarked on a journey to discover one of Lebanon's most stunning guesthouses. Just a brief 10-minute drive before reaching Faraya, we found ourselves at Caim, a peaceful retreat boasting three distinct private villas: Energy, Balance, and Harmony.
Our stay for this getaway was at the Harmony Villa, and it quickly became my personal favorite. Tucked away a bit farther from the highway, it offered a heightened sense of seclusion. However, it's essential to note that all three villas offer breathtaking mountain views. Harmony, though, has a little extra to offer during the summer months – a delightful fire pit and a private pool.
What truly caught my eye was the villas' design – a captivating fusion of style and simplicity. The place had only opened its doors a month ago, so everything felt refreshingly new.
As a pleasant surprise, breakfast was included in our room reservation, and there's also a cozy little bar in the lobby area.
While the guesthouse doesn't have an on-site restaurant at the moment, you'll find numerous dining options in the surrounding area. And here's the cherry on top: the villa is incredibly cozy and superbly equipped. From a Smart TV to a fully functional kitchen, you have everything you need, making it possible to bring your own food and whip up your favorite meals.
Now, a word of caution – despite the heaters and fireplace, the villa tends to be chilly indoors due to its concrete architecture. Be sure to pack some warm clothing to ensure your utmost comfort during your stay.
Harmony villa is ideally suited for two guests, but with a sofa on hand, it can comfortably accommodate up to four.

As for the best time to visit, I'd recommend it for romantic getaways, couples' retreats, anniversaries, birthdays, or any special occasion you'd like to celebrate in style.

Overall, I was captivated by the villa's interior, its exceptional amenities, and the breathtaking location – all this just a 40-minute drive from Beirut! The only missing piece is an on-site restaurant, but word has it they're planning to expand in that direction soon!
