DAR ZEFTA📍ZEFTA, NABATIYEH
In the heart of a little town, there stands a timeless gem - Dar Zefta. Built in the bygone era of 1904 in Nabatiyeh. This charming establishment has the honor of being the area's first and only boutique hotel. It's a place where history whispers from the walls, where the past gracefully merges with the present.
This was once the home of a leader from this area, this historic house was eventually opened to the public and passed down through generations. But in 2014, disaster struck, and the house was engulfed in flames. Yet, like a phoenix rising from the ashes, Dar Zefta was carefully restored to its former glory.
Today, Dar Zefta is not just a guesthouse; it's a living museum, a sanctuary that breathes life into art, history, and culture. As we stepped onto the grounds, we couldn't help but be captivated by its charm.
The house is a clear example of being very roomy, encouraging you to check out every little space. Outside, there's a lush garden that's peaceful and perfect for relaxing. If you're in the mood for sunshine, there's a big infinity pool ready for a refreshing swim.
Our chosen haven for the night was room Shams. It greeted us with its spaciousness and a cozy atmosphere that instantly put us at ease. The bed was, in a word, enormous, and as comfortable as it gets.
One delightful surprise was that breakfast came bundled with the room, a pleasant touch that added to the overall value of our stay.
Dar Zefta also oers lunch and dinner, promising homemade delights. However, we couldn't help but find the $40 per person cost for these meals a bit surprising. The tastes were nice, but we wondered if it might be a little expensive for what was served.
Like any tale, there were imperfections in ours, too. We had expected the sta to be a bit more attentive, but at times, they seemed a little distant.

Dar Zefta also extends a warm welcome to your four-legged companions, making it a pet-friendly retreat.
Overall, Dar Zefta is more than just a place to stay; it's a magical journey through time. Every corner is steeped in history, and the cozy ambiance embraces you like an old friend. This charming boutique hotel is a haven for those seeking a slice of the past in the modern world.
