PRALINE 📍HAMRA
This beautiful new restaurant will seduce you as soon as you arrive.
The building in which it is located gives you the impression of traveling to France. You will forget that you are on a busy street in Hamra. I loved the marble fountain in the middle, which makes the place even more beautiful. The place serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and also has its own pastry shop, so the desserts are not to be missed. Inside, you'll find a great selection of ice cream, desserts, cakes, and chocolates.
We went to Praline for breakfast, and we tried several dishes from the menu. We started off by having the Beet salad with goat cheese. (9$) It was very fresh, colorful, and flavorful! We then ordered their egg and truffle croissant with turkey (10$) very big portion, very soft croissant. Their four-cheese croissant (7$) if you like cheese and creamy mushroom sauce, this croissant is perfect for you, I really enjoyed it with all its succulent flavors. Then we ordered the rose waffle. (8$) It is colored with beet and topped with avocado and a poached egg, it is very good but honestly, I felt like it was a little too heavy.
We also ordered some of the desserts on their menu. We had san sebastián cheesecake ($4) It was extremely delicious, and truly a must-try. R.I.P Diet cheesecake ($4.50) Honestly, it had a super cool presentation, but the cake was dry and too sweet for me. Chocolate brownie mousse (4$) It was good!
They only serve non-alcoholic drinks, so you'll find a wide variety of coffees and smoothies. We opted for the cappuccino ($3) with dried petals ($4).
They have Shisha as well.
Overall, we really loved having breakfast in Praline and enjoyed the desserts as well. I recommend going there for breakfast, or for a coffee meeting. I could also tell you to go there for lunch, but I only tried their breakfast menu!
