RASEEF 📍HAMRA
Raseef caters to your cravings for delicious homemade meals. It is a new beautiful hidden gem in Hamra; open enough to invite you in, yet warm enough to make you feel at home, this place is actually inside an authentic Lebanese house.
The place is very nice to meet with friends for a cup of coffee or a drink after work. You can also find Lebanese and Syrian dishes. We tried a variety of dishes from their menu. We ordered Yalanji Mezza, it’s basically eggplant and cabbage stuffed with rice. It’s not bad, but not my favorite so I honestly wouldn’t order it again. Their Fatoush salad with halloumi cheese was pretty good, supper fresh and colorful. I personally loved the Kebbeh Sajiyeh, it was actually tasty and Majid ordered the wings which he really liked but I found them just okay!
We also had some Americano; it was a bit too watery. They offered us a carrot cake, but it was too dry, as if it had been sitting out too long, and had too much sugar. The food is acceptable. Although I wouldn't go to this place specifically for their food, but rather work on a laptop, read a book or have a drink with friends.
I think the best part of this place is definitely the location, the architecture, the comfortable setting and the homey atmosphere.
