This newly opened beautiful gem is a farmer's house transformed into a country restaurant in the Bekaa valley and is offering a buffet every Saturday and Sunday! The place is extremely eye-catching, and the interior is very stylish and instagramable! I personally loved every single detail!
Their menu mainly focuses on Lebanese cuisine with a twist such as freshly baked saj in the oven, a variety of cold mezze, and four main dishes. As a reviewer, I tried to taste all the dishes to see what I could recommend. After doing that, it is safe to say that based on my personal experience, some dishes were very tasty and others were pretty average. The dishes I liked the most were the Fattoush salad and “Caprese salad” with Lebanese akawi cheese and Lebanese pesto both were very colorful, fresh, and flavorful. Although Majid was disappointed, they did not have Tabbouleh on their menu; it was his favorite. The musakhan chicken rolls with sumac are a must-try, they were very juicy and mouthwatering! For the main courses, we tried the dish with meatballs and rice also made the Lebanese way, and freekeh with fish. Out of these two main dishes, I would personally say that we liked the meatballs and rice better than the freekeh since it was a bit dry and lacked flavor. There is also a dessert station, but honestly, I didn't like the desserts, they were either a little too dry or too sweet for me. There were also some fruits, they were okay.
The buffet is around 30$ per person with the food and drinks including (arak, wine, and beer) I think the price is very fair for the open food and drinks. And as for the kids between the ages of 4 and 10, it is half the price, 15$ per child. The staff was very friendly!
But the service was a little bit slow, it took quite some time for us to get the coffee we ordered.
Overall, we enjoyed our lunch in nature, it's very nice to eat in the middle of the greenery and enjoy a nice walk. It's also really great for families with small children because they play in nature since the place is not only kids friendly, but pet-friendly as well. On the other hand, the buffet is a bit underwhelming in our opinion. I suggest going there for lunch with family and/or friends.
